Faqqly: Social Networking Through FAQs

Faqqly is a new social networking website that offers a question and answer format for profiles. Founder David Liu believes that existing social networking websites cause users to become to focused on themselves. By allowing FAQ pages for each individual, he believes users will be more interested in learning about each other.

This idea is interesting, because typical social networks revolve around presenting your own information and making it public. Conversations, however, are based on both questions and answers. The biggest challenge for Faqqly will be whether or not they can steal a good amount of users away from social networking powerhouses such as Myspace and Facebook.
