MuslimSpace Seems Like a Joke

Social networking service MuslimSpace feels like a parody website. It's probably due to its religious duplication of Myspace's design and functionality. Looking at this website, I half expected it to be a joke, and for none of the links to work, but the service seems fully functional.
The website part of the Digital Halal Network, and is even less aesthetically appealing than Myspace due to the numerous text and banner advertisements splattered on the page.
So far, the service does not seem to be gaining any momentum, but who knows? Maybe this will turn into the Myspace of the Middle East after a couple years. In the mean time, no need to look there.

the top 4 largest muslim populations according to CIA World Factbook are:
1 Indonesia 182,570,000
2 Pakistan 134,480,000
3 India 121,000,000
4 Bangladesh 114,080,000
none of which are in the middle east
