Take and Share Notes with mynoteIT

I already wrote about NoteCentric this month and here's another note sharing service: mynoteIT. This service seems a little more developed and offers more features including bookmarks, calendars, friends, and more. This is in addition to its core service of allowing students to store and share school notes.

The groups feature brings students together and allows them to collaborate by sharing important dates and notes. Once again, the problem I see is how most students will probably not be willing to share their notes with anyone but friends. This could be useful for sharing notes among friends, but then how much traffic would that bring?

The success of this services depends on whether students will take the time to type all their notes in. I don't currently know anyone who brings a laptop to lectures and takes notes directly to the Internet. Also, studying in a group is useful and dynamic, and is probably the most efficient way to study and share notes with friends.

I would be surprised if this service takes off.

For people who don't want to retype notes or dont have wifi, mynoteIT allows you to upload notes in many formats, converts them for you and makes them searchable / editable in mynoteIT for you.

Thanks for the clarification Alex.

Good luck with the service!
