L8ter: Overloaded Web Page Reminders

L8ter is a small and simple service that informs you when an overloaded website is available again. Everyone knows that being linked to by websites such as Slashdot and Digg can temporarily cripple a website and bring service to a halt. Now, instead of bookmarking it or forgetting about it, you can have l8tr keep an eye on it and send you an email when there's less stress on the server.

You can also download a L8ter Firefox extension to add an option called "Monitor with l8tr" to your right click.

The service is totally free, supported by Google Adsense (surprise!), and run by John Graham-Cumming.

Excellent plugin. The digg /. effect is both a blessing and a curse. There have been times when half the sites on the front page won't load, or accounts get suspended because of the incredible traffic.
